Your Home Information Pack is designed to help the home buying and
selling process, and contains important information about your home.
This includes:
- An Energy Performance Certificate:
This is intended to tell buyers how energy efficient your home is. A Domestic Energy Assessor will
visit your home and record the key information that affects the energy
efficiency of the property. The result will be produced on an easy to
read scale.
The certificate also recommends energy saving measures
that can reduce household bills, along with a guide price for each
recommended change.
- A questionnaire which you will fill in about your home.
- Legal information:
This will include a copy of the title deeds or
information from HM Land Registry about your home. If your home is
leasehold, it will also include a copy of your lease.
- Searches:
The Pack should include a Local Authority search and a
